Classes
Archery truly is a sport for all, regardless of age and physical ability. If you are interested in finding out more, our beginners courses are the ideal introduction to the sport.
Courses normally take place at weekends and comprise two sessions of 4 – 5 hours. All equipment and insurance cover is provided, together with light refreshments. You are strongly advised not to purchase archery equipment before you have attended a course.
The objective of the course is to provide you with a comprehensive introduction to modern archery. Core topics include range safety, correct shooting technique, an introduction to the main types of modern archery, equipment choice, an overview of how the sport is organised in the UK and advice on finding the right archery club for you.
